Enterprise Data Governance implementation at UiTM

Data is one of the most important assets and should be carefully managed and refined into information which will allow university to better serve community and ensure UiTM remain relevant in today’s hinger learning education industry.

To ensure that data is managed properly, data governance plays a significant role in the control and distribution of important information within the university. Without data governance, people may not know who to refer for answers to their questions and may receive and/or circulate incorrect information.

In aligning with the university agenda, the mission of the related data governance initiative is to facilitate data-driven decision making in order to become data driven organization. The Data Governance Steering Committee has been set-up to sponsor and ensure the success of that initiative.
